FBN Delegates Visit Caring Minds

In recent times, the effects of excessive digital media usage has been negatively impacting the mental health of children. On this context an interactive workshop was conducted by Caring Minds on DON’T STARE AT YOUR SCREEN on 25th August 2019. The workshop mainly focused on discussions concerning various methods and techniques on how to spend ‘Screen Free’ quality time with their children.
Caring Minds conducted an interactive, in-depth Cognitive Behavioural Therapy workshop on 9th, 10th and 11th August, 2019 at Caring Minds. Participants learned the basics of CBT (a talk therapy that helps one manage one’s problems by changing the way one thinks and behaves) and its applications in treating anxiety, depression, and other mental and physical health issues by Suvra Chunder, a well renowned psychologist and psychoanalyst in India. She has studied CB therapy in UCL, London.
Caring Minds conducted two interactive and immersive workshops for the Patton Group Plastics Sales team:
a) Positive Thinking as a Performance Booster
b) Business Networking the attendants said the training methods and the materials enabled them to enhance their sales performance, soft skills, and business etiquette.
Caring Minds conducted an intensive and interactive workshop on ADHD. It covered topics like how to manage a difficult ADHD child in a classroom, processing speed and planning, attention enhancement, and more. An activity-based session, the workshop ensured easy comprehension of the basics for the participants.
Caring Minds organized an Experiential workshop on Relaxation Techniques, conducted by a renowned expert in the field, Dr. Suvra Chunder on 12th January, 2019. The workshop included a brief overview of the various approaches and techniques used in relaxation along with the recent advances in the domain. The participants saw live demonstration of various techniques of relaxation, which was followed by a question-answer session. Positive feedback from the participants successfully summed up the workshop.
