6 Month Certificate Course In Psychotherapy Orientation

Orientation programme for the incoming batch of the 6 Months Certificate Course in Psychotherapy was held on the 20th of November, 2021. Recognised by Jadavpur University, the course has garnered a lot of interest in the community, and this batch is the 4th to enroll for it.
The online event was graced by faculty members Ms. Sugandha Ramkumar, Ms. Aishwariya Banerjee and Mr. Sourojit Pramanick, along with Akademia Co-ordinator Ms Atreyee Chandra.

Diploma In Psychological Counselling Orientation

Orientation programme for the 3rd batch of the Diploma Course in Psychological Counselling was held on the 20th of November, 2021.The course is recognised by Jadavpur University and classes are held over the duration of a year.
Faculty members Ms. Sugandha Ramkumar, Ms. Aishwariya Banerjee and Mr. Sourojit Pramanick attended the programme along with Akademia Co-ordinator Ms. Atreyee Chandra.

TINSUKIA CENTER LAUNCH

The inauguration of Caring Minds’ branch at Tinsukia, Assam was held on the 13th of November, 2021. A welcome addition to the community, the centre is to be located at the RC Agarwal Multi Speciality Hospital (Makum Road, Tinsukia 786146).
The grand occasion was graced by Chief Guest Shri Narsing Pawar who commended Minu Budhia (Founder-Director, Caring Minds) for this imperative initiative. Shri HP Budhia and Shri Sanjay Budhia were also in attendance, and Ms Preeyam Budhia moderated the programme. Smt Uma Devi Budhia also unveiled the foundation stone for a 100-Bed Multi Speciality Block at RC Agarwal Multi Speciality Hospital.

EVENT AT BENGAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE

Ms. Minu Budhia received the ‘Iconic Woman Entrepreneur Award’ by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce, adding another feather to her cap.

 

The award was presented at BCC’s event celebrating and felicitating power women, which was titled ‘New Era in Women Entrepreneurship- Strategic and Next Gen Business Skills is the New Normal’. Dr. Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Ms. Shaon Sen, WBCS (Executive), Additional Director, SUDA, Additional Mission Director NULM Joint Secretary, Department of Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal, was the Guest of Honour.

 

BCC presented the awards under the leadership of President Mr. Deb A Mukherjee.

CONCERN FOR CALCUTTA EVENT AT HOTEL SWAGATH

Ms. Minu Budhia and Ms. Preeyam Budhia were invited by Concern For Calcutta to their Annual General Meeting to speak on ‘Rediscovering Happiness in Our Lives’. They touched upon the subjects of positivity, gratitude, and the importance of choosing happiness everyday.  Their views resonated with the audience and the event saw a lot of interaction.

A zoom webinar was jointly organised by Carring Minds and Akhil Bhartiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan (ABMMS) on September 28th, 2021 in preparation for the launch of a center of Caring Minds at Tinsukia, Assam.

Ms. Minu Budhia and Ms. Preeyam Budhia were given by State President, ABMMS, Ms. Pinky Prithany, and Ms. Shiva Chamaria respectively.  Ms. Prithany also moderated the Q&A segment of the webinar, which was titled ‘Mental Health: Breaking the Stigma’. This segment saw a lot of interaction by the audience and questions were asked on a range of issues.

The webinar was concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Madhuji Agarwal.
