Caring Minds celebrated its 8th birthday and the room was filled with gleaming faces- Team Caring Minds thanks the community for the immense support and love!

Doctors, educationists, psychologists, and professionals from multiple sectors participated enthusiastically in the interactive session ‘Management of Mental & Developmental Disorders’ – joint initiative by Caring Minds & the Indian Chamber of Commerce. Hon’ble Minister Dr Shashi Panja graced the occasion as the chief guest and Consul General (USA) Patti Hoffman was the guest of honour.

In her welcome address Minu Budhia said, “Sessions like these are essential to build a community that is equipped with education and awareness about the realities of people with mental and developmental disorders, and is able to look beyond an able-ist point of view to envision and develop new possibilities.”

The ICC Special Abilities Task Force is led by Chairperson Minu Budhia (Founder-Director Caring Minds, ICanFlyy & Café ICanFlyy) and expert committee members Dr Sudha Kaul, Ms Anu Puri, Ms Renu Saharia, Ms Sonu Mehmi, Ms Iona Kundu, and Ms Nilima Ghosh.

Caring Minds started the new year with conducting ‘Parenting 2020: Communication Skills – a workshop on modern parenting. Held at Openhouse, the workshop facilitators were Dr Prathama Chaudhuri and Ms Megha Rathi.

Caring Minds 6th Anniversary Celebrations at Café ICanFlyy on 6th September, 2019.

Caring Minds conducted an interactive workshop on 31st August 2019 smart parenting for the parents and teachers of Swarnim International School. various methods and techniques were discuss on how to spend screen free quality time with their children.

Caring Minds conducted a workshop at Birla High School on ‘Childhood Issues: Red Flags with Intervention and Basic Parenting Skills’ on 3rd and 10th August, 2019. Designed for parents with children in the KG to 6th standards, it was an active interactive session that helped parents to become aware of the first signs of mental disorders.

Caring Minds conducted an awareness programme for children at Swarnim International School during parents teacher meeting where we had individually interacted with the parents.

Caring Minds conducted an interactive workshop for the teachers of Swarnim International School on 22nd June, 2019. Various methods were shared on how to work with special needs students in a regular classroom to ensure a safe, understanding, and inclusive educational environment for all students.
