On the 28th of March 2014 Team Caring Minds went to Swami Vivekananda State Police Academy in Barrackpore to deliver a Stress Management workshop to two groups of 300 police cadets. The Deputy Inspector General of Police Shri Asit Pal met the group on arrival and discussed some of the stressors of police life with the team. The workshop was mainly activity-based and encouraged the cadets to mould their minds to battle stressors they could not otherwise banish. The workshops were highly interactive and were well-received.

On 28th July 2014 the ALCM Team headed to South City International School to conduct a workshop on ‘Good Touch Bad Touch’. There were about a 110 children all from Class I who attended. The workshop was highly interactive using games and worksheets for colouring to reinforce the concepts of good and bad touch for the participants. They were also shown a simple cartoon video in the end to cement the learning and explain to them what to do if they ever sense a bad touch. A handout was given to the children to take home to their parents.
Workshops on Stress Management and Team Management with Mid – level Management personnel of Hyatt Regency, Kolkata
On 23rd and 24th August, 2014, the Caring Minds team conducted two highly interactive sessions with the energetic team of Hyatt Regency, Kolkata. Over the two sessions the various nuances of stress management strategies and team management were explored. The discussions and activities were interspersed with moments of humor brought out by the creativity of the participants.
On 29th August, 2014, Caring Minds conducted two sessions on SMART Goal Setting and Career Planning with students of classes IX and X. Through the interactive sessions and the activities, the participants worked towards giving their dreams a more concrete shape and coined their very own, unique SMART goal statements.
On 28th February 2014, Caring Minds was invited by South City International School for a workshop on Mental Health Awareness
This was a 1½ hour workshop where the teachers participated in various activities and interactions with regard to the topics concerned. Various energisers made the workshop enjoyable. The Q&A session was a hit, where parents and teachers came together to ask about various problems they are facing in respect to children.
This workshop was thus a grand success and we look forward to close collaborations with South City International School in the future.

Workshop with teachers of Lakshmipath Singhania Academy
On the 25th of October, 2013 Caring Minds was invited by Lakshmipath Singhania Academy to conduct a workshop on Alternative to Punishment and Self Esteem.

On the 23rd of August, 2013, Caring Minds facilitated a workshop with La Martiniere for Boys School, Calcutta. This workshop was conducted in 2 sessions at the Caring Minds Office; where the first session catered to parents of students in classes 1-3 and the second session catered to parents of students in classes 4 and 5.
The parents were addressed on the topic “Mental Health Awareness and Identification of Special needs”. The workshop was a grand success. The parents were able to share some of their personal experiences which made the session highly interactive and knowledge sharing. The team of Caring Minds would like to extend their warm gratitude to the Principal Mr. S Chakravarty for this initiative for the parents of his junior school students.
Workshop with teachers of St James School
On the 21st of October, 2013 Caring Minds was invited by St. James School to conduct a workshop on Holistic Wellness, Stress, Work-Life Balance, Communication and Relationships.
This was a 5 hour workshop where the teachers participated in various activities and interactions with regard to the topics concerned. Videos and role plays made the workshop more interactive and enjoyable.

WORKSHOP IN DPS NEWTOWN
On 28th September, 2013, Caring Minds conducted a workshop with 600 delegates that included parents, teachers and students of DPS Newtown. Awareness was created on Mental Health issues such as Depression, Suicide, Peer Pressure and Exam Stress. The discussion was interactive and lively. Activities and role plays made the interaction enjoyable.
