Caring Minds conducted training on ‘Understanding human behaviour – INDIVIDUAL/GROUP/CROWD’ for the Sub-Inspectors of W.B. at Kolkata Police Training Academy, Howrah on 18th August, 2022. It was conducted by Ms. Atreyee Chandra, a Clinical Psychologist at Caring Minds.
The participants enjoyed the sessions on Understanding human behaviour; the principles of Human Behaviour; theories on individual behaviour, group behavior and crowd behavior.
Ms. Minu Budhia, our Founder-Director, was honoured as an “Architect for Change” for her significant contribution towards the development of a better tomorrow. She was honoured by the Public Relations Society of India, at their conference, “BrandEdge 2022”, on 17th August, 2022. Her contribution was appreciated in the presence of Guests of Honour, Melinda Pavek (Consul General, US Consulate General, Kolkata) and Dr. Dhriti Banerjee (Director, Zoological Survey of India).
Our founder-director, psychotherapist Minu Budhia was invited as the Guest of Honour at the Inner Wheel Club of Behala installation ceremony. She spoke on the importance of mental healthcare, especially for women, gave answers to several FAQs about psychological counselling, and shared her journey of battling & overcoming depression.
Ms. Atreyee Chandra, Clinical Psychologist at Caring Minds, was invited to give a talk at the American Institute of Indian Sciences, Kolkata on the 17th of June, 2022.
8 students from the United States of America, who are to be in India for a 2 month fellowship, were in the audience. The talk, titled ‘Stress, Culture Shock and Mental Health Challenges While Studying Abroad and Self Help Strategies’, aimed to be an orientation for the international students.
The hour-long session was interactive and we hope the students found a lot to take away from it!
The Bengal Global Trade Expo at Science City, Kolkata, gave us a unique stage to start a conversation about mental health. With many visitors showing interest in our organisation, what we do and what we stand for, we were able to talk and spread awareness about mental health and answer questions regarding it for the 5 days spanning between April 20th to April 24th of this year.

The participants thoroughly enjoyed the sessions on Human Behaviour & Socio Psychological Factors; Human Emotions; Motivation; Types of Personality and Leadership, Decision Making, Empowerment.

Psychotherapist & Founder-Director, Ms. Minu Budhia, gave a talk on the Importance of Mental Health & Counselling. This event was held at Assam Heights Public School, Tinsukia on 19th May, 2022. Through this talk she spread awareness on how to break the stigma and trash the taboos surrounding mental healthcare.
